Terms of use
Last updated: October 29, 2026
By creating an account on Shulchan Orech (shulchanorech.com) or using the site, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully.
The service
Shulchan Orech puts authors, publishers and institutions in touch with professionals of Torah publishing (editing, proofreading, typesetting, translation, design and more), through a directory of profiles and a board of job requests. The service is free of charge.
Your account
You must be at least 18, give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done from your account. One person, one account.
Your content
You remain the owner of what you publish, and you allow us to display it on the site and in search engines for as long as it is published. You confirm that it is accurate, that you have the right to publish it, and that it respects the law and the character of the site.
It is forbidden to publish misleading, offensive, immodest or unlawful content, content that infringes the rights of others, or spam; to collect other users' contact details in bulk; or to use the site to send unsolicited messages.
Moderation
Advertisements are reviewed before they are published. We may refuse, unpublish or delete any content, and suspend or close any account, that breaks these terms, without notice when necessary. To report a problem, write to contact@shulchanorech.com.
Between users
Shulchan Orech is not a party to the agreements made between users. Prices, deadlines, quality of work and payment are agreed directly between them, under their own responsibility. We do not check the qualifications of professionals and give no guarantee about them.
Availability and liability
The site is provided as is. We do our best to keep it available and accurate, but cannot guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Shulchan Orech is not liable for indirect damage, or for damage arising from the content published by users or from dealings between them.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time from the account settings. We may close the service or an account, in which case we will try to give notice.
Changes
These terms may change. The new version will be published on this page with its date; continuing to use the site after that means you accept it.
Law and courts
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Any dispute falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel.
